Scirocco Central

Car was sold as standard but found after afterwards it has been tuned to 350hp... the tuner said its almost certain other mods have been done, he assumed a downpipe.. but I don't really know. Exhaust isnt that loud so assuming the rest of that is standard.
Maybe its just the tune..

you have to detach the air intake, some piping clips and cables from the cover... Then you have to really pull hard on the areas that the cover connects to the engine on.. i broke one of the mounting points, luckily cheap to replace... but yeah its overly tight... i had to take it off a second time ...

no, turbo should be spooled at any rpm over 3k really

what kind dyno was it? some read high some read low.. your 2nd figures look similar to mine give or take 10 bhp, can you post the dyno graph? id like to see how it compares to mine cuss i have an issue around 3k rpm.. cheers... LOL just saw that you posted one... did they smooth the curve out on you...

Just to reply to the above post. My car was purchased as standard from available car.. I took it on the dyno for a before and after remap test and the car had already been remapped... I had no idea what so ever. So its easy to buy a car remapped without even knowing...

30mpg is achievable if u drive it steady. put ur foot down around some country lane tho expect 10 - 15mpg in sports mode.

he went into the ecu and checked the map, it was a quick remap where whoever tuned it just made the boost requested max value from 2k rpm. he sorted this out with his own map. I did think the same as you tho, i guess its worth checking, should be easy enough to spot. Ill try and contact the previous...

You drive a Diesel so loads of torque...... youre going to get loads of wheel spin in the wet. Having crap tyres wont help though (if you do)
