Re: pano sunroof - road noise?
I test drove both w/ panorama and w/o panorama before I placed my order and noticed no difference in road noice. It definitely enhances the looks as the windscreen seems continue over the roof and since I'm a tall bugger 6ft4in (190cm in the metric part of the world) I really wanted the extra headro...

Re: Calling all 1.4 122ps owners and Scirocco enthusiasts!!!
I went for a smaller engine than typical in Sweden, there is an old tradition over here preferring larger cc like 2.4 and up. Very energyminded country but crap at understanding how the Otto engine works... The downsizing is the best thing in car development in 100 years. Less volume = less internal...

Re: Being fobbed off by VW? Help
Welcome to Little Britain; "-Computer says no." ;-) Strange noises are very low on most garages priority list, for them either it's a clean fault or computer says no. "you are not the only Roccer in the village..with that sound". So then it's not a fault. http://sandalsandsocks.t...

The thread for discussing the various option packages and maybe individual choices as well. Re: How does DCC (dynamic chassie control) work?
I didn't have an issue with making a choice about DCC, as it was included anyway in a very comprehensive package at a very low extra cost (roughly 1700 quid) for Sport+Premium. I think VW have different option packages in different countries. All cars sold in Sweden have the "winter package&quo...

Re: How does DCC (dynamic chassie control) work?
ACC would be a seriously confusing name as it generally means Automatic Climate Control... are you sure? In Ireland VW call it DCC as rest of Europe. http://www.volkswagen.ie/etc/medialib/vwcms/virtualmaster/cml/company/innovation___technik/fahrwerk/dcc-daempfer.Par.0006.Image.jpg/dcc3_pop.jpg Is th...

How does DCC (dynamic chassie control) work?
Hello! Maybe this month's airhead award but seriously, how does the DCC work technically? Is it hydraulic or electromagnetic or witchcraft? It is included in the Sport+Premium package I have ordered. Will it only affect handling in terms of stiffness or even ride height (like Citroën)? You who have ...
