Are these problems from the dealer you had the car from?? Just take the car to another dealer to sort the problem.

Re: Sat Nav rubbish??
My last car was a MB and had the latest comand sat nav system fitted, think it was a £2500+ option! The VW one is much better IMO.

Re: v power or normal unleaded for 1.4 tsi 160bhp
On my last car forum there was a member who works for shell UK and this debate was brought up many times. From what he has told me (both on and off the forums) I wouldn't use supermarket fuel, also v-power and all the other brands high octain fuels are not just about higher BHP but also the way the ...

Re: To Dsg or Not To Dsg
DSG all the way, if you drive in rush hour traffic it will be worth its weight in gold. Don't forget you can also use it in a manual mode as well as full auto. One thing I would say is that in comfort setting the box does like to get in 6th as quickly as possible which can be a pain. Where as in spo...

Re: Turbo engine cooling time?
I've had turbo cars in the past and only left it to over run for few minutes when its been raced hard and the turbo as been used alot. If I've parked up after normal drive I just switch it off. Not sure if this is right or wrong but never had any issuses with the turbo.

Re: Amping OEM speakers
Think you'll find the standard sound system is very good, unless you like driving around in a baseball cap with all the windows down and meeting up with chavs at Mcdonalds... Go into a dealers and turn up the sound and see (or hear) for yourself.

Re: RNS 510 - no directions on MFD (version B)
Is your Nav a C version ?, you need to ensure BAP is enabled in device (Navigation) 37, byte 7 bit 7 , check this after you have enabled Navigation 37 in the Can Gateway You may need to rebbot the RNS afterwards too Yes mate it's a C version. Thanks for the instructions :-) I'll go and try it short...

I would suggest you go for a test drive in a civic type R, then you'll know what harsh is!! Then once you get back into the scirocco it'll seem like the smoothest car in the world
