I had this problem when getting a seat for my little boy, the rear seat base is narrow, i went for a britax prince in the end its for narrow seats and fits perfectly in the back and still fits him now he is 2. Its belted but easy to remove and refit.

Had this when i was buying f1 asymmetric 2's, they are different compounds the r1 suffix is the latest compound, hope this helps.

Fitted heated leather in my car had the wires for the heaters already there(winter pack) took a feed from the cigarette lighter for the lumber support as it only uses a small current, if you need any help i can look at my wiring.

intresting info about the tappets, i am sure its a tappet noise and not a injector, looking at my 170 it has piezo injectors not the pd ones in the pic above so they would not be noisey from start up when building pressure. Think its worth chucking a flush in on first service, could be swarf. Mines ...

Spoke to them this morning and they said it was common due to the oil being thin and draining down from the head easily, there are no tech bulletins on it. The earlier pd engines where worse for it. Saying that i have changed a few faulty pd injectors on skoda ovtavia vrs 170s an the cylinder heads ...

My TDI 170 has started to make the same noise from stone cold first thing in the morning. Sounds like a valve lifter thats slow to pressure up, its only done 9000 miles should not need a flush. I work as a mechanic and our franchise has a vw dealership so i will ask the lads in the workshop if they ...

Glad you got it sorted in the end, will have to get mine updated with the revised software. I have not had any probs yet though but i have only done about 5k, did you notice a change in performance with the update?

I am sure you can do a re-gen on dealer software and vag-com. will look into it tomorrow we have vag-com in work.

HI did you managed to get it sorted? had my tdi 170 mapped at revo HQ daventry (security encriped ecu), no probs yet, only done 2 months ago though! could they not do dpf regen at the dealer?
