You UK guys are not getting a bad deal! The car is cheaper and better specced in UK. The only downside is that you can't spec the catch-up upholstery (which does look pretty nice in pictures, and would certainly be a cheaper alternative to the leather) or the 122PS engine (why you'd want to do that ...

The UK is the only market (as far as I know) where ACC and the RCD510 are standard. It's also the only market with a GT trim level. No such thing elsewhere - we just pick which options we want. I don't remember seeing it as a desctption so maybe its standard on the car. The audi A3 only had a black roof lining in S-Line spec. Is that what you are thinking? Yeah. No experience of it (yet!) but I'm pretty sure it's available in the Golf VI, and I'd be damn surprised if VW put any engine into a Golf (whatever about a niche car like the Scirocco) that wasn't tested all the way to hell and back.

filo1908 - why did you get the RCD310? I thought the 510 was standard in the UK? So maybe you're not in the UK? I'm in Ireland, where the RCD510 costs an extra €805, and if you want the RCD510 with Dynaudio, it's €1,552!

This might be a stupid question, but do they fit cruise control to manual cars? The only cars I've ever seen or driven, that had cruise, have had auto 'boxes. So can you get cruise control on a manual Scirocco then?

So the lumbar adjustment is electric then? Is that standard or is it an option?

I keep seeing this control and can't work out what it's for. It's the round button with four dimples(?) at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. These seats are manual rather than electric, so that's what's confusing me. I think I've only seen it on the leather seats - or is it on all?
