Semantics aside, and I'm not totally disagreeing with your point, it still counts as a 4WD option for the OP.

Right... three totally different cars there. One 4WD, one RWD and one FWD. I wouldn't even put the Scirocco in the same bracket as the other two - sure, it's a hatchback, but it's not going to drive anything like the others. What do you actually want? I am assuming 'new' means new to you, otherwise ...

Good tyres, aren't they? Only just had a set fitted to my R and still well within the breaking-in period, but they feel like proper boots at long last.

£140 a corner is a steal for these. Five stars, would buy again, etc.

I think that is expensive - would put it around the £14k mark at the absolute most and that would be if it ticked every single box and was local and from a seller who I trusted. Spec is good and is seemingly just missing Dynaudio to be fully loaded, but as a 2011 plate the interior lacks the updates...

I need to get some replacement chrome emblems for the bonnet and the boot of my 62-plate as the previous owner fitted matte black versions, which don’t really do it for me.

Where’s the best place to pick them up from and what should I expect to pay?

Are uprated Anti Roll Bars worth considering for an R? Something like the H&R kit?

Sorted! Found a nice low-mileage R and bloody glad I did. It’s an absolute pleasure to drive and I’m so glad I went for the R over the TSI - worth the extra pennies.

Picked up a Scirocco with an RNS510 and when using the MDI cable and my iPod Classic, I do not see any track numbering info, as you’d kind of expect.
