Hi everyone
My throwout bearing is on its way out on my 2.0tsi judging by the noise I’m getting.
Would you guys replace the duel mass flywheel at the same time?
I’m not going to keep the car for too long as I need something more economical so I’ll be trying to sell it.

it ended up being the horn unit under the wheel arch that was faulty. Electrician removed it and everything works except the alarm.

Alarm going off
Hello everyone. My car alarm keeps going off about a minute after I lock my car.I’ve narrowed it down to being the exterior sensors since I tried turning off the interior ones and it still does it. It happened first time after a rainy day this week and hasn’t stopped since? Any ideas for temporary f...

Brake Discs? Pads? BREMBO?
Hello, so I’ve seen a post here about putting Audi TTS brake discs on as they are smaller (340mm) and save weight?
Anyone got anything to say about that?
Also are the brembo ones any good as I’m not really sure which make to get?
Also where’s the best place to buy them?

Re: Scottish Candy White 160 *APR Stage 1*
I'm looking to get my lights done by them as they're pretty close to me and the price isn't too bad. Angel eyes and bi xenons. You've had them for a while now did they fail on your or anything in this time? Also mine doesnt have xenons so they would have to fit bi xenon projectors. What's the legal ...

Carbon build up?
Hello guys, I'm just wondering what ways you lot have to preventing/ limiting this? My dad is a strong believer that if you take the car on a long drive regularly it will slow down the buildup as the engine gets really hot shouldn't stick as much and nothing's worse than short trips for a car. I've ...

Insurance repair poorly done - help
Hello guys! I've had an accident just over half a year ago. My insurance put an excess fee of £250 have I decided to go with my own repairer so I thought since it was Arnold Clark, a big company, they can't be that bad.. Boy was I wrong. I won't go into it as it's not relevant to what I'm wanting to...

P2015 fault code..
Hello everyone. Recently been getting the beautiful engine management light on my rocco, checked the code and it was the P2015. I'm just wondering if I can buy the little flap that seems to be getting stuck open? I delete the code and it pops up a few days or a week later? So my guess is it only get...

Engine cleaners? Yes or no? Premium fuel?
Hello guys, so I've seen its pretty common for the sciroccos to get carbon build up in the engine and I wanna know your opinions about them? I'm mainly talking about the ones you add to the fuel. My dad who's a mechanic says don't touch it, if it ain't broken. So I wanna know what you lot think abou...

Re: Car accident.. help
My insurance put an excess on choosing my own repair centre.. So I went with theirs which is arnold clark. They will give me 5 year warranty for the rusting... which is okay as I doubt ill keep the car longer than that, depending in circumstances. Has anyone had anything painted by then? As a privat...

Oh that's pretty cool. I like what you've done to the interior, May I ask how you did it, or did you just paint them yourself? Also where did you connect the dashcam? Cause your wire disappears:p

Re: Car accident.. help
Believe it or not before the accident, when I was at work,
I was actually thinking about getting a dashcam. It would be useful in case of an accident especially if the other person has said a lot of shit.
Any recommendations? Looking for a tiny one though

Re: Car accident.. help
My insurance said they don't increase premium for Non fault claims. And they won't take my ncd away. Unless they decide the accident was my fault. However that's not a possibility as I'll take him to court if that is the outcome. The guys side of the story is : he was parked with his handbrake on an...

Re: Car accident.. help
Rear bumper and boot are fine. Just the rear axle took a hit. So I can say to his insurance that I will only accept the car if its done by a Volkswagen approved body shop? Okay i dont understand that? So just because a junkie pulls out and hits my car, I will have to pay higher premium and declare i...
