Re: Problems with activate the foglights

to quote the highway code... "You MUST NOT use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced (see Rule 226) as they dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves." "[Rule 226You MUST use headlights when ...

Re: How many Scirocco's have you seen on the road since launch?

Only 4 for me as well. I'm loving that I own a rare car. But a mate at work just bought the same car as me, a Pewter 1,4... So now there's twins in the parking lot, beautiful twins. hehe..

Upgrading speakers with RNS 510

I have the RNS 510 and the standard speakers and the sound isn't the greatest. I'm looking to upgrade the speakers and maybe adding a amp and sub. Has anyone with RNS 510 done this? If so was it an easy upgrade with regards to installation? Was it straight swap or kind of fiddelly?

Re: Campaign to make ACC an option in the UK

What setting do you leave ACC in on your Scirocco? If it is permanently in Sport then this is a fair comment, as it'll be set to the hardest setting (or limited range of auto adjustment at the top end of firmness?). If you've left yours in "normal" then you've had the ACC full benefit, wi...

Re: Standard headunit

Here in Norway the RCD 310 is standard. Cars are so expensive here, so they strip them down to lower prices. Almost everything is an extra. The only thing that's standard is Dual climate control..

Re: Windows Move When Starting

Hi, You get a similar thing happening if you take the keys out the car and turn the steering wheel till the steering lock kicks in. If you then put the key in the car and try to turn the key the windows move up and down. You have to take pressure off the steering lock pin by turning the steering wh...

Re: RPM at 80 mph 1,4 vs 2.0

The 1.4 does 2200 rpm when hitting 100 km/h in 6th. So around 3000 seems correct for 80 mph.

Re: You've seen it all, but here's another one

How much is it Denmark?
Ridiculously exspensive in Norway as well. The 1.4 with only 122 bhp start at £29,000 (290,000NOK) The one with 160 bhp starts at just under £32,000. And the 2.0 starts at a whopping £41,000... :fall:

looks like Im the only one with a 1.4 TSI... You're not the only one. I also got a 1.4 TSI. But I live in Norway and here the 2.0 is ridiculously exspensive (starting at about £41,000 :fall: ). My roc is "only" £35,000 with some extras.. I saw the Scirocco for the first time a early morni...
