Whitedevil_170. Sounds like that's the sort of runs it would do if I had one. Maybe a few less miles to my work but I could go the long way round Good to know you haven't had any problems.

The 1.4 160bhp would of been my first choice if I hadn't started to read in to problems. How many miles has your car done / how old is your car. Are vw replacing it for free. It does sound a fun engine

How do the diesels cope with town driving, Just worried about blocking up the dpf

I'm thinking about buying a scirocco
Really can't decide what engine to go with. The car will be doing quite a few short journeys. I'm a bit worried about the 1.4 tsi engine problems I've been reading about. The only thing putting me of a diesel is the dpf.
