I'm a mere 6 ft1" and have no issues whatsoever. At 6ft4" you should probably consider a berlingo!!

Re: Help - R vs GT 2.0TSi?

I love my GT but there are piles of them everywhere now. If I could afford to swap mine for the R I would do in a second.

Very bad luck indeed. I'm gutted just looking at the pic, can't imagine how vexed you must be. Hope you have it back and as good as ever soon.

Re: Your worst scirocco moment?

After a week of ownership I reversed mine into the garage (which is at a funny angle due to it being a shared drive), rubbed the front driver's side against the downpipe on the house causing 5 or 6 light scratches on the front bumper. As you can imagine the air was blue, I was gutted. Sadly the scra...

I don't like the blue display of the climate control. They could have made it match the driver info system display in white. I LOVE everything else about it though.

Gave the car a quick wash this morning before taking her out again, took a few more pics and posted on the Facebook group, didn't have to reduce the file sizes that way. (Still wearing that big cheesy grin!)

Re: Dynaudio...Worth it...??

I have the Dynaudio and it's fantastic with CDs and higher bitrate (256kbps+) mp3s via the ipod. I have also had a tinker with the EQ settings and no doubt that after about 10 hours use the system is still 'running in' but for me it's definately worth the extra few quid.

because she finally arrived. Only one pic, taken through the window as it was wanging it down when it got delivered. First impressions are that the car is fabulous. Lovely to drive. Love the new steering wheel and white DIS screen, shame they didn't sort out the climate display to same colour. Got t...

Re: Daylight Running Lights. ARGGHHH......

The instructions to turn mine off were in the manual. Well if you were successful by that method then you are the only person on this forum who has found those instructions to work so far. That method doesn't work on UK models though I did read someone's suggestion that it works on LHD's. It ...
