Scirocco Central

Hi

When I am selecting songs/artists etc on my RCD510 stereo in my car it always says "please wait" and is very slow. Has anyone else seen this? Any idea's how to fix?

I had a new stereo put in because the original was stolen when it was broken into. That one worked fine.

A friend of mine who has the same car got 37k out of his first set of front tyres.....

Got the car back on saturday. An excellent job was done by Tuners repair centre, nr Selby, North Yorks.

You appreciate how good they from driving a Fiesta for 2 weeks!

The wear looks ok to me. I have had a search around on here and 15k is not abnormal it seems. Was expecting more, perhaps the person who had the car first had a more aggresive driving style than me!

I got my Scirocco, approved used with 9.5k on the clock. It has now done 15k and needs a new set of front tyres.

Im wondering if the tracking is not correct or the previous owner drove it like a t*t!

Would you say this is normal wear on Continental sport contacts?!!

I think so yes and I bloody hope so! But I have heard that factory fitted alarms are not very good! As I was walking back to the car the passenger side rear light was lit up, which made me think straight away someone had touched it.

It was on Gain Lane, outside Morrisons HQ where I work most of the time. Because I work for another company I am classed as a contractor so cannot park in the carpark! Nothing because it's in an accident repair centre. Got broke into yesterday and they've done £1800 worth of damage!

Had the Scirocco broken into yesterday outside my work, during the day on a busy main road in Bradford. Driver side window smashed, door paintwork damamged, stereo nicked, scratched dashboard and gear nob and glass in the tyres. Absoloutly gutted, watch out everyone! £600 excess to pay, merry xmas.

Is the accelerator easy to fit?

Have you updated the firmware of the MDI interface. There are some threads on here about it. Its easy to do.....that should fix it I think.

Where did you aquire the R pedals from mate?

I've read Audi TT pedals will fit?
