Re: Revo select plus issues
I can't even acquire the ecu settings without getting an error message, I picked up the switch recently as Revo were taking forever to supply a switch from the christmas offer, Simon at mega4 in Woking ended up giving me a plus unit from his own stock.

Re: Revo select plus issues
As I understood the instructions you can set the switch to 0 and run a stand alone type editor using the software and switch maps, boost, timing etc. I havn't tried just using the switch yet as I've dropped the car at the dealers but I'm not sure what the cause of my problem is. Id prefer to be able...

Re: Key wont go into the ignition barrel
Turs out its a fault with the barrell, the white piece of plastic that acts as a dust cover was jammed, awaiting new barrell under warrenty.

Key wont go into the ignition barrel
As per the title, wondering if its anything to do with the weather but i drove the car a few hours ago then went to go out again just now and the key would not insert into the barrel. It seems like the barrel protector is stuck over the recess so the key can't be pushed in what so ever. Has anyone h...

Ok thanks for that, calliper part numbers 996.351.426 / 425.? SO many different porker brakes out there! Can these callipers be run with the bigger R discs as well?

Re: Opinions on brakes
Wigit do you have a build thread outlining the porker brake conversion with costs etc? Totally agree on the braking, i often get the feeling the car isn't going to stop in time when approaching round abouts.

Re: Opinions on brakes
To me there isnt enough urgency in the braking and i feel that it lacks bite. Might try pads but if there is a bolt on bigger calliper and disc conversion then that seems like a good idea.

Re: Opinions on brakes
I find the standard brakes no way near effective enough. Looking for an R setup of Porsche setup. Whats the cost vs performance vs fitting like for the two? Any guides and part number lists on here?

Poor fuel economy TSI 200ps
Having done a few motorway journeys in the rocco tsi 200ps im surprised that im struggling to top 30mpg even when cruising, highest it has been is 33mpg. It normally sits around 27mpg for a mixed town and motorway journey. Car was recently serviced by vw as well before i picked it up. Seemed to be g...

Re: Fuel cleaner (Redex, Powerenhancer BG244 etc)
No need. The engine was designed for a long service life on on lowest quality pump fuel available, these products sell you the idea of huge carbon blockages and sticky injectors, this will not be an issue... dont waste your money, save it for a decent service when the next one is due and you will ha...
