Boot pops out more on one side

Boot pops out more on one side

Hi, can any one explain what's up with my boot? When closed it pops out and isn't flush on one side only, I push it down and it just lifts up again, pic attached of each side for reference. Any opinions are welcome.

Check the bump stop on the side that's not sitting flush. My guess is that it's not compressing as it should, it's spring loaded, and pushing the boot lid out. Easy and cheap to replace.
