WHAT RECALLS HAVE THERE BEEN ON THE SCIROCCO III ?

To determine your Scirocco's chassis number, build year, raise the boot floor carpet panel. On the metal floor panel on the left or right side of the spare wheel there is a large white sticker. Look at the top part as below.

The chassis number can be use to find out if your scirocco is subject to any OUTSTANDING recalls. Enter your chassis number into [1] as shown below.

The response from VW Germany will either inform you immediately that the Scirocco has no ouststanding Campaigns or will list them. If any Campaigns are indicated, make a note of them and consult the main table above and also discuss with your dealer.

Campaign Already Completed

If the Scirocco has had a completed Campaign previously, then there will be a small white Campaign sticker on the boot floor panel like this. On it will be the Campaign Reference Code as in the top table. This is Workshop Campaign 24S4.

Also, there should be an entry made at the back of the Booklet 1.1 Service Schedule like this for Workshop Campaign 24S4.
