Just been in to my local dealers to find out how much my car is worth and I can't believe it has depreciates so much in 17 months. He said my GT 2.0 turbo is worth about 21k

That sounds about right to me, its more than other have been offered.

Spec doesnt get you much if anything especially in a p/x

So I take that I could use the same argument on their second hand vehicles

Unfortunately for you dealers only tend to work on that theory in the one direction

Yes, sadly all cars depreciate rapidly in the first couple of years, the Roc no exception. I would suggest though that the values hold up much better than mainstream vehicles, and any car with a waiting list is going to command a premium.

I know what you mean though, my 09 plate with only 10k miles is realistically probably worth only £16k max.
