Fastest acceleration method for DSG without LC

As already established not all DSG Sciroccos have the launch control feature.
For those models without LC, what is the fastest method of acceleration from a stationary start?
Should one use manual or sport mode? Traction control on or off? Can the revs be increased before releasing the clutch?
