Scirocco Central

Hi all,

Just had my first service done at 10k. All ok I think but I checked the engine oil today after 100 miles and it's already looking pretty black. At first I thought they hadn't done anything. My old Citroens oil used to stay yellow for a good few thousand miles but then maybe it's cos I'm driving a diesel now.

Any thoughts anyone? How long should it be before it turns black?

Modern oil turns black very quickly, so I wouldn't worry about it

Hi I drive a petrol 2.0, oil goes dark v.fast, I had an extra oil change done at 6 months, but same has happened again, manual does warn about this-(due to additives) But like you previous cars looked much cleaner
