Picking up my scirocco saturday but have one problem!

Hi guys, im new to this forum and i have finally found the scirocco for me on autotrader and put a £500 holding deposit down on it 2 weeks ago.
The problem is that the scirocco is registered as a Scirocco GT TDI DSG and the colour is registered as unknown! But it is infact Scirocco GT TDI Manual in candy white. I am buying it from an independent dealer and he said to me that VW/DVLA have done a mistake along the lines of registering the car orignially. He has the original VW paperwork invoice for the car and it states its a Manual, in white. But for some reason the DVLA has it down as a DSG S-A in unknown colour.
He has assured me this is no problem and now that the V5 has come back to the dealer he can now correct the details on the V5 when he fills in the paperwork for change of owner when i pick the car up on Saturday. Also he has got in touch with VW that has provided him with evidence that the car is what he is describing and this letter from VW will be sent to the DVLA along with the V5.
Anyone else has similar problems with VW/DVLA not sending/receiving the correct details? I suppose the only thing i can check when i goto see and pick the car up is that the chassis number, engine number, vin numbers etc match with the original invoice for when the car was new in december 2009. I have read on the forums that there are information tags as usual in the engine, inside the door and in the boot.
Anything else is need to look for on the tags? I cant wait to get the car, just this little hurdle puts a little downer on things i just hope it all works out saturday!!
Thank you guys!
Dean
