Hu everybody, bit of advice needed. I'm looking for an R and on the advert for this car it says the car has sat nav but on the pictures it has the RCD 3 button style but with an extra dial in between the volume and tuning ones. What is this for? Is this a new unit?

Some R's were supplied in the UK with a Radio/Navigation RNS310. That unit in the dash is one.

So there's no point getting an RNS510 for that? I assume it does not have the HDD and some of the functionality of the RNS like Phone (fiscon compat)

It doesn't look like it, the spec is for RNS310 listed here.
