Been looking for some aftermarket rims for my R, and just wondered what people liked, also i know the current 19" Talladega's are ET41, whats the most ET i can add/ take away without using spacers ?
thoughts at the moment are BBS black editions, and the 19" VW motorsport rims but in Anthracite , i dont particularly want a full black wheel either

Those BBS wheels in 19" would look awesome on a silver R!
If the wheels are 8.5" wide then you can go up to ET30 which is perfectly lined up with the arches, but ET35 or around 32 will be just as good...almost perfect.

u need to have a lower ET to push the wheels out if they are wider than OEM wheels.
so yeah if its 8.5" wide extra you'd be better to go lower ET to push wheel back out so not to foul the struts and wishbones etc.
but...can you not leave your R alone man!!!!

Volkswagen R Gmbh spent all that time making a damn fine car out of the box and u wanna change this change that. Grrrr lol.
Those BBS are the biz. Maybe some OZ Super lightweights in athracite too.

If i am honest i'm not going mad on this car, i have done this previously with cars and although they look good you compromise things, i just fancy some darker rims and i have a set of Edition 30 rims to sell so they will part fund the new ones, and i always like to have a spare set of rims for my car in case the worst happens

Make sure you post some pics of your silver R! Can never get too many silver R pics since they are so rare.
