Picked up my new car yesterday and it had 8 miles on the clock on display one yet on display 2 it showed 4.30hrs use so how can that be or am i being paranoid.
The other thing is there is a sticker in the car saying long life service due in 20,000 miles and yet the display says 9,300 miles to the next service how can that be if it has only done 8 miles.
or have they used the car and turned back the clock forgetting the other display resets?

anyone help please.

I'm not sure if this is applicable on the rococo but on a lot of new cars there's the option for a dealer to knock the first 50 (aprox) miles from the speedo of the car, it's very possibly not that at all as 4.30 hours driving would gain quite a few miles, I personally would not worry about it.

As for the sticker, again don't worry, your computer is still settling in and working out when the service is due, that said 20k is quite optimistic, I think you will find that The sticker is a guide more than anything concrete

Is the 4.30 hours actually driving though, or just the engine being on? (Not sure how it is calculated.)

Engine on time. The 4hrs 30 may well include delivery time moving the car about during shipping.
