Does anyone know if the Indium Grey is another VAG colour under a new name? I've taken the plunge and ordered mine in Indium after discovering that pewter had been discontinued but can't find any half decent pictures of the colour on a car, even if it's an Audi or something it'll give me a rough idea.....

from everything that has been seen/heard so far it is very very similar to Pewter grey as the colour swatches show on this thread, it may not be completely identical but should be close enough

believe me i've tried to find pics of it on a vw too & failed i've only found what I have posted in here previously

Cool, cheers trix, that's reassuring. It seems a bit odd that there aren't at least any press shots of these new colours, the pictures in the brochure are next to useless.

I guess I'll see when I get the car, roll on September!!

That would be nice trix

I've been doing some more digging, the general consensus amongst the Germans (I live over there at the minute) is that Indium Grey "IndiumGrau" was recently seen on the ConceptX:

Could it be? If so I like, a lot

Well, i was there @ Wörthersee, the week before i ordered my Rocco. At that time i was going for pewter (=Beryliumgrau)

I was just been told that pewter was withdrawn, by my local dealer.
So i asked the VW representative at the show about the color, and even asked for the color code.
He said that it was a custom color especialy for the ConceptX, and there was no official colorcode for it.

So no, it's not indium grey.

We are picking ours up 9:30 Friday 30th July, so should have pics up sometime that day, or over the weekend. If they still have the Pewter Grey Scirocco at the dealership I'll try to get a side-by-side shot.

SoH

you are correct in thinking that second PH link is sumatra

I already posted the merc colour on page 1 to give a guide however one persons subsequent discussions with a dealer who knows the colour is that it is not like the merc colour of the same name
kjellis79 wrote:I have just spoke with my dealer... He says also that Indium VW is not like MB Indium. Is more like Pewter grey/ Berylium grey.

the first pic of grey is sexy as hell and i would love if that is indium grey.

second pic really looks like sumatra to me.

as for the third pic, you can't compare mercdes indiumgrey with the volkswagen grey.

Anyone got a sample pic (real life photo sample) of the "Black Oak Brown" color, replacing the "Dark Maroon" color?? Who knows what this colour really looks like?
