Not sure if this has been covered before, but I would recommend "Spray and Shine" from http://www.NetParts.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on the Web.
You also see similar sold on QVC called "Showroom shine". Don't be put off by the fact it's on QVC.
It's sold as a waterless cleaning and polishing spay.
I find it works well if car is slightly dirty. If really dirty then I was with water first to take the worst of the grime off it, then give it a once over with spray and shine.
It is so quick to apply and gives an amazing shine (it contains wax). There's no hard polishing necessary, use a couple of micro fibre cloths. Simply spray on, use one cloth to rub it in and then the 2nd cloth to buff. It leaves a protective waxy layer.
