Does it need Super Unleaded?

Does anyone know whether normal unleaded is ok or whether it should be run on super? What if any differnece does it make and is there a certain brand to go for?

The engine ECU will adjust to suit the fuel in use. The minimum is specified on the fuel tank filler flap label. Using Unleaded v Super Unleaded grades will have impact on the engine available power. In reality, normal driving it shouldn't show much difference. It will only be more noticeable if you want to drive the Scirocco more sportingly.

please don't put normal UL into your R. :no: :cry:

apart from the first £10 of fuel being Total Excellium SUL put in by my dealer sales chick, mine has had Shell V Power ever since. I don't care about the cost. For a high performance car such as the Roc R it should get the best fuel available out there on the forecourts. :)

I agree!! My Roc GT has had nothing but V Power from day one! And it will continue when i eventually get my R!

I think I am going to use Tesco 99. This seems to be the highest quality available near by. Thanks for the advice all.
