Ordered White Scirocco R yesterday with every extra available not been given delivery date yet but when the car arrives want to fit KW coilovers, spacers and HLS system, live in manchester area anybody know best place to get the work done and get remapped at the same time. What are the options with mapping the car and should i do it straight away.

Hi Sco77w
its personal choice on when to get a car remapped, some prefer once its run in others (although the smaller percentage) remap almost straight away, map options will most likely be similar as for the standard roc (Revo, Superchips, APR) I'm not totally up to speed on whether it will require a different map to the GT so best to ask the experts there, there is plenty of info on mapping in the Modifications: Engines & Tuning section of the forum.

needless to say you have the obvious being Awsome or another worthy of note who have been recommended in past is Venom
i'd bide my time on the remap until the decent one(s) appear, especially given you've got a DSG one

I'd go revo but run your car in first. If I went coilovers the kw hls would be my choice too.
You also need some gt bumpers for stealth. Go on then, I'll swap with you! Lol

Any views on whether a K&N panel filter or VWR panel filter is worth getting? Will be remapped

Id get one when you get the Car Mapped, it is worth it even for a bit more induction noise

But I'm sure it will give you good BHP/£ together with a Remap.
Awesome have told me that KW are still working on the Kit for Rocco R and doing some testing.
what worries me with the HLS is the you shorten the springs by the size of the HLS, will that not have an impact on the comfort/handling compared to just the normal coil overs?

You don't have to shorten the spring, only if you go really low. and run out of thread ont he body.
Just remove the helpers, and wind the collar down to give the room needed for the HLS unit.
Even if you had to shorten the spring, as long as its the same rating the length doesnt matter. . .
Wouldn't bother with changin the panel filter, its not going to gain you any power or noise benefit, and for the cost you could change the paper one every month and still be better off for years!
