All in One product suggestion

We always cover what various different products to use but the question of what All in One product seems to be rarely (if ever) touched on..
so T&J, etc over to you..
My dear dad is slightly deluded in his thinking that he can polish his car with something with a bit of bite & then leave it (unprotected) & expect the finish to last, which it doesn't tend to. He cares about his Mondeo (I know, I know, shoot me later) but doesn't want to exert to much effort on it therefore a one step product to polish & protect with reasonable durability would be ideal but now i'm in the wash/polish/wax (mulitple layers) brigade i'm not sure what to recommend he trys.
fyi: the car is silver & an estate so lots of surface area, & if it could be used on a white/cream caravan (yes I know
) & dark blue Nissan Almera too then even better....
