I placed the order on 15th of January and the estimated delivery is mid April. Haven't got any estimated production week. Dealer is waiting for confirmed production week before giving out any more detailed information. This is the way to do business in Finland.

Has anybody complemented his options after the initial order. What was the impact to the production week. As said mine is still estimated production status and new option, reverse camera came to the list with reasonable price. I wonder if it will postpone my delivery.

I added the Winter Pack and Smoking Pack without affecting the build date.

I think it depends which stage your order is at. As you're still waiting to be confirmed it shouldn't make much; if any, difference.

My dealer told me that I could not change the options two weeks after the car was ordered?? Me tinks he was fibbing!!

Does anyone know the exact stage where you can change your options? And how soon to the build week that would be please?

it depends on your dealer, what you want to change & whether you build week is confirmed or not. some dealers will take the risk, some will categorically say no.
if the build week is not confirmed a small change may not affect it but something else may delay it a few weeks or a month or more, it could all hang on how close it is to going to confirmed.
if your build week is confirmed then changes will affect it.
basically there is no hard & fast rule

Theres me thinking the Germans would be a little more precise with something like this

My change didn't affect the build week. The confirmed BW is 10.

I ordered the change on Monday week 5 and I got the confirmation on Wednesday last week (6). This gives you some information, how much earlier it is possible to change options without affecting BW.

out of interest kele what did you add/remove/change?

also as this is only build week 6 I would think you have just slipped in the change as your build should go to confirmed roughly next week if it did not this week, build weeks are estimated until 3-4 weeks before they can not definitely confirm them any sooner than this
