The price rise shouldn't affect me?

Hi all, i have just received an updated invoice from my dealer because the system didnt have the R listed back in november.
All the prices on the invoice are 2010 prices and not the 2009 prices which i was told was "price-guaranteed"

Now im sure he has just sent it because it is all he has on his system now it's been updated but im sure that i should still pay the original price quoted?
Even if i have to pay the extra VAT this year surely i should just be paying the added VAT on the original 2009 prices and not the higher VAT+the 2010 prices?

So for example i would pay 2010 VAT rate for say 30k as was priced last year and not the 2010 VAT on an updated price of say 32k just because i am taking delivery after 28th feb?

Email sent and waiting to hear back but got a feeling they may be trying it on a bit.

thats not good to hear spam.. just a thought, although presume not but have to double check these things.., is there an extra line on the invoice of discount (over & above any you managed to wangle at time of order) that effectively counteract the price increase?

also have you got anything stating the price agreed at time of order?

The price at the time of order is the price you should pay.

The price at order is the price +VAT, the quoted price would have been price +15% VAT, but chances are they may have to charge you +17.5% if you;re taking the car in March.

The quote i have has the price inc 15%, but clarifies at te bottom that VAT at the applicable rate will be charged.

So, you should not pay the increased base price in the car, but the price at the time of ordering.

Thats what i thought, i have the same printout which says about the VAT change on the bottom which is fair enough as i want it on a 10 plate so will take delivery after 1st march.
Also, yes Trix i have a printout of the original order with older prices (minus the 19' wheels cuz it wasnt on the system)
