I had some great news today from my dealer that my roc R has a confirmed build week 9 so not long to go!

I have been a bit stupid and upgraded to 19 Talledega's, but I have also bought some other wheels to go on when the car arrives.

Therefore I will have a brand new set of 19" Talledega's for sale with brand new tyres - (I guess Michelin Exalto?). I will be open to sensible offers - if anyone is interested.

Unless your strapped for cash my advice would be to keep the stock wheels to put back on when you sell it. Can always sell they other wheels after that.

i'd be happy to swap my 18" gloss black interlagos alloys with tyres for your talladegas and give you a bit of cash too

All you 19 inchers don't panic. They really suite the car visually and on comfort setting could be perfectly acceptable.
I may cry if my 18 inchers look naf as no one has seen an R on the stock wheels yet.

I'm sure they will be fine, I hope so I've ordered 18's. I think there was a link to a blue one In a german showroom on here somewhere and they looked good.

19" and british road's are not a problem, if a pot hole is big enough to Damage 19" its big enough to damage 18". I have had 19" BBS CH's on My MKV golf for the Last year with out problems. Id worry about Kerbs more than pot holes

Hi - Due to take delivery of my Roc next 2-4 weeks. I would be very interested in your 19" Talladegas plus tyres. So much stuff here so just to confirm 4X new unused original spec 19" Talladegas with original/stock new unused tyres (235/35 19" ?? rated ?? make and type of tyre??). How much do you want? and when can you deliver?

Hi - yes my Scirocco R is build week 9 - and expected delivery end of March. I have a set of 18s already which I am going to put on only because I need the cash and the 19s are going to be very rare and very saleable. As the car hasn't arrived I can only guess that the tyres will be the Michelin Exalto that I had on my Mk5 GTI(maybe someone who has got their R already can confirm??). The Exalto are an excellent tyre which I have read were designed with Renault Sport for their Cup cars. The wheels and tyres will be 100% genuine Scirocco R - they will make your car quite unique. In terms of price I am interested in getting fair value for them - I will call VW to get a quote for the wheels and tyres and then give you sizeable discount and let you know if that sounds ok. Tread depth will be as new as I will only pick up the car and stick the 18s on (and maybe take some pics before I ruin it with 18s!!).
