Scirocco Central

Just spent the day with my dealer in sevenoaks, and we have checked the system and my car has moved from expected build week to CONFIRMED.

Really happy this has finally happened. For some reason mine is there only customer order car that has been moved to this status.

There demo is in blue, with grey leather, looked really good though I did not think the car standed out as much in that colour as perhaps it does in silver and white.

Also saw a car in black which looked very mean but was not able to get any pictures.

Did the build week change when it changed to confirmed?

What colour are you going for?

no firm news on mine, looking like mid october

i had a test drive from another delership who said they noticed xenon headlight models were taking longer

i had a provisional build week of 38 I now have a confirmed week of 39.

On another scirocco forum there are two other people that have just been confirmed that week as well. So I can ony guess that from this point forward we should see weeks confirmed week by week. My dealer said normally the systems get a big update on fridays.

I have gone for white with grey leather and dyno audio.

seems mine is floating between week 40/41, our gti pirelli looks like it will arrive last week in september (ordered on same day)

two cars ordered on one day that must ave been a nerve racking moment.

Out of interest did you get much of a deal on the Gti

dealer has confirmed week 41 so picking up last week of october (on holiday the week it actually arrives)

gti pirelli arrives 4th october (again on holiday when that one arrives), we got a cracking deal on the pirelli, when the free gap is included over 9% which competes with best broker prices (list it was about the same as my scirocco), given you can no longer customer order should be rare

registration numbers selected (we wanted one letter off, currently they have been nick named rocky and bullwinkle

have they said that it will be delivered into the country that quickly then, as the weeks are build weeks and normally that say it can take about 2 to 6 weeks to get the car delivered and preped etc.

we'll see as it has been floating between 40 and 41, they want it in there oct for figures (they have not sold a scirocco since mine towards then end of july)
