Got the Reg no..... Money has been taken off me.....

I've now got the reg number, paid all money that needs to be paid....
No definate date as of yet...
Does that mean car is built and in the country ??
Any news welcome !

i paid on handover but if you pay by cheque or something that takes time to clear then i think its 5-10 days before?

Well the cheque will be cleared midway through next week....... So not long then !

Hmm, very trusting of you!
I paid using maestro debit card. Did put my pin number etc in until I'd taken delivery and had a look over the car first.
Hopefully not long to wait now!

you should get 7 days free with volkswageninsure to cover you from pick up..

Might be a stretch making that last until Jan
But yes, definitely recommend getting that arranged. In fact if I remember right you have to get it arranged with the free insurance so they can tax the car.

I was the same, paid by credit card 10 mins before I drove out the dealership after having a good look over the car, which I was encouraged to do by the dealer. Everything was great though, went smooth as can be.
I actually chose my number plate when my status was still "On Ship" so it doesn't mean definitively, that your car is already here. Fingers crossed though!
