Leaking windows

I've just washed the car, this involves snow foaming, then rinsing off with the pressure washer, then giving it a quick going over with a wash mitt and then a hose down with a garden hose, which has no nozzle fitted as apparently its better to have the water sheeting off the paint to rinse rather than using pressure which can be damaging. I noticed to day when rinsing the car with the hose that water was getting in on the B pillar and the drivers seat was wet and also some water was running down the inside of the window. Does anyone elses leak like this? Its not done it before, and gets washed the same every week. It didnt do it when rinsing with the pressure washer, but its more of a mist that comes of the pressure washer when I'm rinsing. Should I mention this to the dealer? And before anyone asks, I didnt have the hose hard against the car it was around 2 foot away and on a fairly gentle pressure.

Never had this with my car when washing using a hose so doesn't sound right to me. There's no chance the window was slightly open is there?

Nope Deacon, I double checked it. Its not coming in at the top, but along the edge of the B pillar. I'll moan at the dealer when I'm in next.

The seal's haven't just got twisted somehow and then the doors been shut on them and they've 'stuck' out of shape (if you get what I mean!) have they?

Nope again, there perfect! Not perfect, cos they leak! But you know what I mean. Its the double rubber seal which runs up the way, its slightly rough rubber its made from, not smooth as I'd have thought, but both sides are identical so suppose its how its meant to be. Been out again and gently sprayed it with the hose, and it did the same, so somethings not right, like I say, its not done it before. The only difference is its much colder this past few days, its not even managing double figures, so maybe cos the rubbers harder is why its started it. the cars going to the dealers in a week, so I'll see what they say, but a car that leaks thats only 4 week old aint good enough in my book, I had a 14 year old polo a few year ago and it didnt leak! Prob just needs the door slightly tightened, but I'm not touching it

I noticed it on mine when I used my brothers jet washer but it doesn't happen if I mitt-wash it.
I think it's just the pressure of the water at the wrong angle (ie directed from the back to the front). It either forces the window out a little bit or the seal back a little bit. I don't think it's the sort of thing heavy rain will cause though.

Doesn't seem to be a common problem judging by what you read on the forums. Is it only just the one door / window affected.
How long have you had your Roc Alan. Have you ever treated the rubbers with silicone or anything ?

Check more carefully than a quick glance and see if the body shut lines are flush. Could be a door not shutting enough. A liitle adjustment perhaps needed??

I agree with Kev in that its the angle that the water hits at thats causing the problem. Still think it shouldnt do it tho! Not on a new car. The shut lines and windows all line up perfectly, and it does exactly the same thing on both doors. I havent treated the seals with silicone yet, was gonna wait till it got a bit chillier! The cars 4 weeks old.

My car gets slight drips from the top of the window near the pillar. Only one very slight drip though which stays on the window. It only does it when I wash the car using the pressure washer though. Frameless windows are never as water tight as framed ones though so it doesn't bother me.
