So in light of youvebeenaced's relevation that his insurance for the roc is
alot, really alot
what is the most insane insurance quote you have had for a car (be it the Roc or any other that you have owned) [& yes Aced we do want a figure!!

]
currently the highest cost for the insurance on the Roc is £1250 but i seem to remember having a quote for my 306 last year at well over £1500 (& that was with discount for already having my house insurance with them!!)

When I got my rocco quote about 2 months ago the go-compare list ranged from about £350 to just north of a grand. It certainly pays to shop around. They must make a ton from people who just renew without checking.
I don't think I've ever been quoted anything outrageous in the past. My very first quote ever was just over £500 and it's actually drifted down a bit ever since

£4500 for a Lotus Elise, which I decide not to buy! (I was only 23 at the time).
Was quoted £1000 for the Roc this year, though have an accident on my record. Ended up paying £500 in the end after a bit of negotiating...

I had a 325 coupe with bodykit etc on it. Was beautiful..anyway, i bought it off someone who got it for his 17 year old son brand new! They had it less than a year. Anyway, the insurance for the son if i remember correctly was 7k i think. Madness!!
The Roc for me should be around 400 i think.

I was paying just over 1k for the Roc with a mod friendly insurance scheme

most I've paid was on my first car which was £2200 for a Civic Type-R.
Most I have been quoted is more recently on an RS4 avant which was a lovely 4k ouch

pretty much bang on a grand, fully comp. £500 excess
which isnt too bad seeing ive only been driving for a year and a half and only 21 with no crash history.
what annoys me about the bastards is the interest rate they put on insurance if you pay it up.
