Which head unit is fitted and does it have a phone button? What is the model year identifier of the car - 10th character of the VIN?

2011 year, so an RNS 510 maybe, but there are quite a few variants From a quick Google search, it seems these systems require a separate Bluetooth module located under the front seat, but I'm no expert on this.

The exact factory spec for your car is available on Partslink24 - feel free to PM me your VIN if you'd like me to check, as I currently have a subscription

Thanks for your PM. I'll post here as others may have better insight. Partslink24 shows your car was factory fitted with a RNS510 head unit, part number 1T0 035 680 C (current list price £4,610+VAT!).

The car wasn't fitted with the unit described as "Interface box with integrated control unit for telephone and 'Bluetooth' aerial" (of which there are many variants). I'm guessing this is the unit that would sit under the front seat if you had Bluetooth. To retrofit, you'd also need the mounting bracket/cover for the BT unit, and no doubt an interface cable between the BT unit and the head unit
