Scirocco Central

I have a facelift R-Line Scirocco, and currently have the Maxton V.2 Splitter for the facelift. However, it is broken, so I'm planning on ordering a new one. I don't like the "triangles" at both ends tho from this splitter, but I do love the shape, and don't like the shape that much from the V.1 facelift splitter. So I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to fit a pre-facelift splitter from Maxton on a facelift model, since I was planning on trying that with the V.3 pre-facelift splitter (VW-SC-3-FD3G). Also asking this, because according to Maxton, the diffusers for the pre-facelift R don't fit the facelift R, but it fit flawlessly for me, so Maxton's fitment page isn't that accurate in my (humble) opinion.

So has anyone ever done or tried this and can confirm they fit?
