Scirocco Central

I’m Having issues with my pfl scirocco R , I went to start the car one morning and it would start up and then instantly die , it just refuses to idle (can keep it going with foot on the accelerator but as soon as you let off it cuts out )
, replaced throttle body and MAF sensor as advised too but still the same.
It idles beautiful with the MAF unplugged and no signs of any obvious vacuum leaks
Me and my mechanic have been scratching our heads and running out of ideas …..

Did it run on idle prior to changing these parts? Or did you change them because of this.
Did you change the maf sensor for a genuine one or a cheap aftermarket (Motorfactors / online) one?
My advice would be anything electronic go genuine all the way as have had this issue to many times when using aftermarket to even bother trying these days.
