Hi guys, I’m in need of your assistance. I bought a 2017 Scirocco 2ltr TSI in France & brought it to the U.K. when I moved back home. Had to fit new headlights amongst other things to be U.K. compliant. Recently I decided to upgrade my bulbs to LED . For the dipped beam I bought bulbs that came with the twist & fit body so the original bulb holder was no longer required. Did the nearside no problem. Then when I tried fitting the offside the bulb holder was a different fitting. Both headlights Veleo that I’d bought separately. One had the twist & fit with the two power connection points aside each other, no problem with this one. The other had the power points opposite each other, and the bulb of course won’t fit.So I’ve bought a replacement grey plastic VW fitting & can’t figure how to supply power. There are two female spade power connectors in the headlight, but the new holder has a plastic connector that pushes into the holder with no connection. Has anyone had this problem?
