The dreaded engine light appeared about a month ago and diagnostics showed error code P0113 which is 'Intake air temperature sensor 1 bank 1 circuit high'. My MOT was coming up anyway so I asked the garage to investigate it while it was in for an MOT and service and they ended up replacing the MAP sensor. Since then I probably did around 50 miles in the car before the engine light reappeared with the same error code.
Can't get back in the garage now for a couple of weeks so just thought I'd see if anyone else has had the same issue and how it got resolved. The thing that hurts most is having to drive my girlfriends ford KA in the meantime
