Scirocco Central

Hello. I have a question about the DSG transmission. I have seen in many places that the 2010 DSG transmission is not very reliably. I wanted to buy a scirocco r with 66.000 kms but I’m in doubt as I don’t know if I can trust the DSG. Is there any opinions or experiences with it? Thanks

My R with DSG has done 116k miles and the DSG has been faultless until recently where I'm getting what sounds like thrust bearing noise, but the box still works exactly as it should, and reading on the Golf forums its a known issue with one of the clutch bearings and causes no issues and apparently majority of owners just ignore it. My car is factory standard and has had VW service the DSG, so I would say the DSG is reasonably robust
