I've only seen one white Roc in several months of looking (and I do about 28,000 miles a year !). Blue and both silvers seem to be the most popular in my area (Preston NW).

BTW, pics look great... looking forward to mine looking just as good. :)

maybe its just that we have a lot of white owners on the forum therefore we have a skewed result. colour choice can be a personal thing, we all have different opinions so respect it.

Andy, very good job almost looks like an extra sparkle on the first pic ;) any chance you will come wax my car when i get it?? good luck keeping it that clean!

Boss, good on you for choosing red, the roc looks lovely in it, personally i've just had a red car for the last 6 years so need something different now, hope you will post some pics up of yours when it arrives so we can admire it too.

Looks absolutely fabulous - fantastic shine there, well done.
And you photography skills are top notch too - can be hard to capture white cars well particularly getting the exposure right. Did you use a 6-point star filter on the first 2 shots ?

Nope, didn't do anything fancy at all, just used the Eos 400D with the standard lens on fully automatic for the photo's - point and shoot

It was just super shiny

i think that looks absolutely stunning, the shine is amazing and really shows of the crease lines on the sides, the roc also looks miles better when you removed the black vw dealer numberplate strips at the bottom of your plates, really understated and a car with go to match the show

I agree - looks fantastic!

Has anyone come across a simple guide to remove the dealer strips? (for non-mod experienced owners)

Yes but you'd think he would have got the VW logos in the centre of those Inters properly lined up

Andy, if you don't mind me asking what machine polisher do you use / recommend? I am in the market for one but unsure what to go for, would appreciate some hands on advice from someone who uses one rather than a salesman. Going to the states some time this year and was thinking of picking up a porter cable. Looking good by the way! Jon
