Hi all, first time poster here.
I recently bought a petrol 280 R, very nice indeed.
I didn't exactly buy it to make savings on fuel, but upon filling the tank for the first time, it's telling me I've only got a 400km range (250 miles). I didn't note how much I got from the previous tank, but it wasn't a lot. I paid no attention to it because I drove like a maniac at first (280bhp, self explanatory)... However 250 miles range on a fresh tank can't be right?

Re: Range question
It's an estimated figure based on average consumption over a determined period. For example if you've been doing short journeys around town or driving hard prior to filling up it will give a lower range figure. If you then take it a run down the motorway then as the average consumption reduces the range will gradually increase. I wouldn't get too hung up on it.
