EPC light came on today. After a quick OBD scan the following errors were found.

Raw code: 0221
ECU: Engine control unit
Status: Pending
OBDII: Throttle position (TP) sensor B/accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor B - range/performance problem
Volkswagen: APP Sensor 2 Circuit Performance

Is this new throttle body time or are there any other issues that could be the likely cause. Error is intermittent.

First thing I would do is check the connections at the throttle pedal and at the throttle body. Based on the description with the code, I would say the issue is at the pedal as opposed to the throttle body
