Stereo cables

Hi all,

Recently purchased a new head unit for my sound system etc.

When changing it, most of the cables were an easy swap over, but I have 2 left over that don’t plug into anywhere. Everything seems to be working (aircon display, steering controls, etc.), so not sure what they’re for.

They seem to be coming from the drivers side.

Any ideas?

Hey bud

I am no expert and have only just got a Scirocco myself, however, the first pic looks like some form of mini-coax style connector. I have used these before on aircraft for connecting a GPS antenna to another bit of kit. Did the old head unit have inbuilt GPS? Not sure on the other, could be power.

Out of curiosity, what head unit did you get?

I bought this one on the cheap. it’s it’s a really nice looking piece of kit and does almost everything you’d want it to, but the sound quality isn’t great.

Thinking about just taking the plunge and getting the Pioneer SPH-DA130DAB
