Misty Matt feel paintwork.

I’ve recently noticed some areas of my body work mainly the doors .. seem to have Matt misty look and feel to them.
I’ve had the car about 4 months and it wasn’t there when I bought it.
It’s been hand washed by me a few times. With no issues.
But when I went to wash it last weekend.. I noticed it.
Does anyone know what it is or causing it. And what can I do to get rid of it.
Thank you
Neil

I would first try a clay bar. This does a great job of removing tar and other road film dirt that a normal wash won’t. Put your hand in a plastic freezer bag and rub the surface. It will feel rough. Clay bar and it should be smooth. [emoji106]

After you have clay bared try Meguiars Ultimate Compound then Meguires ultimate Polish then finish with Meguires liquid wax
There are other products out there but I have used these with a duel action polisher with glass like results. Step 1 and 2 will leave residue that can be hard to polish. Just wipe with a damp cloth before the next phase.
If you have minor scratches that vanish when wet you can carefully remove with 3000 grit wet and dry. Then steps 1 2 3 as above.
