Hello guys,
I'm having some trouble with my scirocco 1.4 tsi 122 hp.
The car has power loss from 0-3000 rpm. It accelerates much slower than it should. At 3000 rpm or higher, the car gets its full boost and power.
It feels like it's accelerating on the motor and at 3000 rpm, the turbo kicks in.
There are no engine lights or fault codes.
I replaced the turbo and everything that's attached to the turbo (boost solenoid, valve, wastegate...) so that can't be the problem.
I did some tests with the computer and the boost pressure is perfect, camshaft adjustment also working perfectly.
I also checked the intake pipes with a camera and it seems like there is no pollution in it.
Has anyone had the same experiences?
Tips on what to check next?
Thanks!
Sam

Re: Not enough power at low RPM
Hey guys, I’m waking up an old thread here but just like the O.P my 2.0 tsi seems quite sluggish at low rpm and it’s not until I hit around 3000rpm when you really feel it pull harder as the turbo kicks in.
I’ve not had the car long, I have No warning lights or fault codes.
Im assuming this low rpm sluggish feeling isn’t right?
Any input would be appreciated :-)
