Scirocco Windscreen Wiper Rattle

I wonder if any of you could assist me
I purchased a 16 plate scirocco R line just prior to Xmas
I have a annoying rattle coming from the windscreen wipers, I know its this because when I use them to clear my windscreen the rattle stops
I can also see a small vibration
Is this a common fault??? can I fix it myself? will this be covered under a warranty if I take the car in?
Hope you can help as its really starting to annoy me now ha ha
