You’ll need to get it scanned and the fault codes read to find out what’s wrong

I would echo Andy b's advice.
From my limited knowledge, any orange light is a warning/ advisory thing to be dealt with as a priority, whereas a red one is "stop, get it sorted right now before you damage the car" - an urgent light.
I have a friend in the RAC and he says that ten years ago, he would be fixing vehicles with broken stuff under the bonnet, but now it is all clearing fault codes. Most of these codes seem to be defective sensors, rather than an actual problem.
Get the garage to read the code; I hope it is a cheap fix !

So I had it checked out and it said cylinder three misfire. Since then I was driving it home and now it’s running on 3 and smoking a lot from exhaust

Replaced the coil pack no better so took it to a friend who works at Be and found out it’s a faulty injector
