Scirocco Central

Today I was driving home from work, when all of a sudden I felt the engine go off, the car made a warning sound (like the one you hear when the fuel warning comes up), and the MFD went blank then a white line appeared across the screen and the engine came back on... The whole thing happened really fast, can't have been more than a second or two...

I'll take it to the dealer to get checked out tomorrow... anybody else had a similar experience?
