Buying my first Scirocco

hello im new here so please go easy on me 
For a while now i've been looking to buy myself a used Scirocco, and since i come from Slovenia there isnt much choise here and from what we do have its all misleading information on the cars..
so i have decided that i am going to buy it from germany on http://www.mobile.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; website. Does any of you have any experience with it? Do i need to look for any special things?
Also i could really use some advice on what to look for when buying a used scirocco. I've heard that 1.4 160hp petrol engine inst reliable so i have decided to go for 2.0 diesel.
