Warranty question

I'm thinking of getting a warranty on my R but I also want it remapped, just wondered if anyone with a warranty has had a remap and taken it in for a repair. I know the warranty states no modifications but just wondering if they would pick up a remap

I was wondering the same so I gave CupraBob a message and he said a remap would void any repairs to the engine. Such a shame, I want mine remapping but I've gotten 2 years warranty and knowing my luck something would go wrong!

Yeah I guess if you have an engine problem they will pick that up, but my air con has gone so was thinking about buying warranty but I don't think they would check the engine for that?

It shouldn't void the air con, that should be alright with a remap
